Since Röyksopp is one of my favorite bands ever I was excited to hear they’d do a remix contest to one of the songs on their latest album “Junior” – “Tricky Tricky”.
So I’ve done my share and submitted a, well, actually not so Chill Carrier like tune, hehe. It’s been quite some fun, I hope they’ll make such contests more often.
Get it here: http://soundcloud.com/chillcarrier/royksopp-tricky-tricky-chill-carrier-remix
Have fun and stay tuned,
Sebastian

Andreas and Juergen from XtraChill have another very fine release of their bi-weekly podcast featuring chillout-tunes and more.
Issue 74 is the third part of their this years XL Summer Special and is fully dedicated to the cult-tv-show “Space Night“, which by the way was a strong influence to myself, so I’m happy that one of my songs, “Beyond Space“, is among the chosen songs. Thanks a lot to Andreas and Juergen!
They again arranged a really relaxing playlist, featuring great artists like Max Waves, Daniel Masson, Ben Othman, Musique Projet, Das Kraftfuttermischwerk, Béla Banhegyi, Bernard Reeb, Kangaroo Musique and Adult Only – building up an atmosphere just like in the good old “Space Night” times.
You can download the (german) show here, and also don’t miss their other issues.
Best wishes,
Sebastian

Hi there!
Some days earlier than actually planned, the new Chill Carrier album “Moving Off Ground” has been released today on Jamendo.
You can find it on www.moving-off-ground.com.
Being the third album after “B-sides” it is again featuring calm and chilly tunes as well as some more energetic tracks. It also includes the EP “Out In Space” consisting of 6 songs, starting at “Taking Off” until “Reaching Earth”, which I decided to not release seperately.
Thank you for listening to my music and for your support, I’m looking forward to any feedback you might leave and will response to it as fast as I can.
All the best and have a nice weekend,
Sebastian / Chill Carrier

Hi everyone,
the new Chill Carrier album “Moving Off Ground” will be released in July.
It will contain 10 new Songs, including “An Endless Road“. I would have released it in June but since I’m moving within the next weeks I’m unfortunately pretty short on time at the moment.
Furthermore I’m updating my homepage www.cbasstn.de a little, to finish it could take some time as well.
At this point thanks again for all your support and feedback, it’s the best thing an artist can get! I also try to listen to all your recommendations but they’re getting a lot these days, hard to keep up with.
All the best,
Sebastian

There will be a new Chill Carrier-album coming up in the middle of 2009, titled “Moving Off Ground”, featuring some more refreshening tunes but also calm and loungy songs again so like “Awakening” it is supposed to be a blend between “grooves and smoothes” – yeah, I think that’s what it’s gonna be.
So far six songs are done, one of them is called “Surfing Clouds” and if you like you can just listen to it here:

The podcast-magazine “XtraChill” has a Chill Carrier-feature on their Xtrachill Issue 67, together with other chillout-artists from Jamendo. Main topic of this issue of the show produced by Andreas Schneider and Juergen Sutter is music licensed under the Creative Commons License, and especially music from Jamendo.
Every one of the five artists they present is featured with a short biography, some words to the musical background and one of their songs – for Chill Carrier they chose “Beautiful Flow“.
You can stream/download the whole show for free, but please be aware that it is in German.
So, thanks a lot for the support to Andreas and Juergen from www.xtrachill.de.
